On October 23, God called my name, Marsicana Black. He said, “My son, it’s time to go to the promised land.” As the angels surrounded me, Jesus held my hand, and my eyes closed forever. I was happily married for more than 46 years. Finally, we bought our first house in Reno, Nevada. At this point in my life, I never thought I would leave forever. God unexpectedly came like a thief in the night.
Once I earned my living as an accessible transport driver for persons with disabilities. My passion for working on cars and fixing electronic devices was my hobby. Another interest was watching my favorite football team, the Chicago Bears. Even more dear to me was spending quality time with my family . Today my sister in law is raising funds for my burial expenses by creating a Gofundme.
Hello, my dearest friends and family, I come to you because my sister-in-law Sandra “Sandy” Black lost the love of her life, her husband. Marsicana “Marsi” Black. He once was someone's father, grandfather, son, uncle, nephew, godfather and friend. . In addition, Marsicana was my son's paternal uncle and godfather. My son couldn’t have asked for a better godfather, than his uncle “Marsi.”

Surely, God's mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
