Marriner Police Unity Tour 2015

Donation protected
Dear Friends,
The Police Unity Tour (Police Unity Tour) began in 1997 with the hope of bringing public awareness to thet Police Officers who have died in the line of duty and to honor their sacrifices. Each May officers from across the U.S.A make the bicycle trip to Washington D.C. finishing their ride at the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial in tribute to those who have died in the line of duty.
On my first trip to Washington D.C. I had the opportunity to visit this memorial and museum and was moved by the permanance, respect and honor it respresents.  As I sought out the names that were all too familiar, paying respect to them and the over twenty-thousand other officers named on the walls, I was inspired to do my part to honor my brothers and sisters.
I will be taking part in the 2015 Police Unity Tour, May 10-13, riding from Atlantic City to Washington D.C., approximately 170 miles, in a symbolic gesture of gratitude.
I'm writing to ask your support, not for me and the journey I'm about to make, but for the memory of the officers named at the memorial.  Honoring their memory and maintaining the memorial is not possible without the generosity of donors.  The National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial is a non-profit organization operating solely on donations.
Please help me reach my goal of donating $2000 toward a cause close to my heart.
Thank you,
Mike
