Pray for PaPa

Rick Landrum aka “Papa, grumpy, Pa, old man” is currently in critical condition at the Tulsa Saint Francis Heart Institute. In February Rick had a heart attack, and from what they thought was recovering very well. Then, on Easter Sunday his heart went into Arythmia causing heart failure. He was then taken by ambulance to Muskogee Saint Francis where they had to put in a balloon pump to stabilize him. Unfortunately due to being down without oxygen for an undetermined period of time they knew that brain damage would be a variable. So from there he was Air vac-ed to The heart institute where they learned he was having consistent seizures due to lack of oxygen to the brain.  As of now he is in a coma. His heart is doing better and he is needing little assistance with a ventilator, but they are still running numerous tests and scans of his brain trying to determine how much damage he has. They have recently taken him of off sedation medicine to see if he can/will wake up. They cannot truly determine what condition he is in until he is awake. Rick is a Father, Husband, Grandfather, Brother, and to many- a friend. He will do everything for everyone and very little for himself. Medical bills are rapidly building up and insurance has rejected most of them. If you have even a $1 to donate please think about Rick and our family. If you don’t then please just pray!
