Will you please pray with us for our daughter Erin? Many of you are already praying and have donated toward their MealTrain account. We are so grateful for your love and help. For those who have asked about other practical ways to help, please read on.
Erin has been in the hospital with Covid since December 3rd. She has been on a ventilator since the 4th and currently is battling pneumonia. While we know that her life and health are in God’s hands, we ask you to pray for her complete recovery, for her husband Lucas as he deals with patient advocacy and tending to their three boys, and for the issues the boys must be dealing with as well. (“J” age 10, “E” age 8, and “A” age 2)
Lucas has to make a decision in the next few days about whether he can afford to take an unpaid leave of absence from his job until August. While this seems to make the most sense as it allows him to continue to be Erin’s advocate and to care for their boys, it does make for a financial hardship. Knowing that God has already provided the needed funds would make it so much easier for Lucas to make this decision.
