Marlie's medical bill

Over 8 years ago I rescued Marlie and I set on a journey to give her a better life. Little did I know that rescuing her was really her rescuing me. She brought alot of joy and love into my life. Coming home to her silliness was one of the highlights of my day. We've been through alot over the years but we've always managed to land on our feet.

Unfortunalty, 2 weeks ago my sweet Marlie girl suddenly became extremely ill. We found out after several tests that she had 'Boxer Cardiomyopathy', a genetic disease, which means her heart was beating irregularly. We had hoped the medication she was given would put her on the road to recovery, but instead she stopped eating, drinking, and was no longer able to move around on her own.  

Last week we had to say our goodbyes to Marlie, something no one is every ready for, especially unexpectedly. We take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.
