Marlene Eining House Relief Fund

My name is Cindy Eining.  My mother, Marlene, has been affected by the LNU Lightning Complex Fires.

As many of you know, Sunday's lightning storms in California sparked several wildfires across the Lake Berryessa area.  They continue to rage at 0% containment.  On Monday afternoon, my elderly mother, self-evacuated down off the hill.  Unfortunately, fire has become such a common threat to the folks up at Berryessa that this time didn't seem any different than the rest. 

My mother took nothing with her but a change of clothes, thinking she'd be back up as soon as the smoke cleared somewhat.  Monday night the fire crested the ridge and blazed through rapidly, taking out the entire community my mother lived in - Spanish Flat Mobile Villa.  Thankfully she had made it out safely the afternoon before so she has her life, but that is all she has left. 

As you can imagine, 83 years worth of memories/keepsakes/belongings, gone in an instant.  There are many things our family lost yesterday that can absolutely never be replaced.  My sister's hand print that the hospital gave mom right before my sister passed away at 6 years old.   The cross they laid on my brother's coffin at his funeral.  My mom's beloved collection of black hills gold jewelry, passed down from her mother.

While those keepsakes cannot be replaced, we are hoping to help my mom replace the essential requirements of day to day living.  Any donation, no matter how big or small is greatly appreciated and will make a world of difference during this difficult time.
