Mark's Speedy Recovery Fund

On March 11th, Mark had a bleeding stroke. He was in the Neuro Critical Care Unit for twenty days. During this time, Mark has had five procedures/surgeries to alleviate the brain bleed, brain swelling, and also a tracheotomy to help him wean off the ventilator and start the healing process! Mark has moved from the critical care stage in ICU to a Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) in Athens, GA. This is where Mark will start rehabilitation and recovery to get him breathing on his own, and begin Physical and Occupational therapies.
 
Mark started out with limited mobility and is progressing every day. The medical expenses are overwhelming and right now we do not know therapies he will need once he is able to come home. We do not know at this time if Mark will even be able to work in the future. We have so many unknowns right now.

Many of you have asked how you can help during this time.  Any contributions that will help alleviate the mounting medical costs for his hospital stays and rehabilitation will be heartfelt and greatly appreciated. Prayers, of course, are also welcome!! We are confident in his recovery and will continue to update his progress!
