Mark's Lung Cancer Treatment Fund

On August 1st this year my lovely husband of 8 years and father of our 6 and 4 year olds was told he had lung cancer. As you can probably imagine this turned our whole world upside down...  We are positive people though and although terrified we hung on to the fact that there were treatments out there... 

Unfortunately as the tests progressed Mark was diagnosed with stage 4 non small cell lung cancer which there is no cure for.  Mark is currently undergoing chemotherapy at Christies but due to the nature of his cancer this will only be to prolong his life in the short term...

And thats why I am here today asking for your help... We are in talks with a clinic in Germany who can offer a treatment called immunotherapy which is still in trials here- in fact, Mark was accepted on to a trial but was randomised to chemotherapy.  The immunotherapy could go some way to giving our children more time with their Daddy,  me time with my husband and more importantly Mark time with all the people who he loves and who love him too.... He is an amazing person and deserves as much time as we can give him.... 

It is hard to gauge how much the immunotherapy will cost but we are looking at an initial £50,000 to get him over to Germany and get the treatment started. 

I would give anything to help this lovely, kind and generous man and from the bottom of my heart, anything that is donated is recieved with such heartfelt gratitude from myself, Mark, and our two beautiful children ...

We will always have hope in our heart...But sadly hope alone won't fix him...
