Hello,
My name is Cayla Jackson, and I work at Horizon Christian Academy in Fort Wayne, IN.
We have the best custodian in the world, and his name is Mark. Mark holds a special place in each of our hearts because he works so hard and is there whenever we need him. Everytime I see him he is working on something or running to help somebody. I don't think I have ever seen him sitting down. He makes sure to greet you and ask how you are doing, as well as come up with crazy interesting ideas for your birthday.
Mark also has a wonderful family. His children are just as kind and hardworking as he is, and his wife is one of the sweetest people you could meet.
His wife also suffers from ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. She has been living with ALS for a while now and despite many obstacles; still manages to have a smile and kind words to say.
Because of insurance limitations, this family has extremely limited funds.The staff came together and gathered some groceries for him to take home to his family.
A few weeks ago, Mark lost the in-home nurse that cares for his wife while he is at work. He is now having to cut back on his hours, which means he has to do the same amount of work in a smaller amount of time.
My goal for gofundme, is to raise money for Mark and his family. To help make them comfortable in the time they have left. Every penny is going towards making her quality of life better and reduce the level of stress put upon the rest of the family.
Please help Horizon Christian Academy take care of the wonderful man who takes care of us.
