Mark Skidmore Memorial Fund

Mark Skidmore was a much-loved brother, who worked hard every day of his life. He found peace being in nature and would walk for up to 15 miles one way to work, rather than get a ride, just to be outside.
He was a landscape gardener and had a gift for beautifying the land around him, restoring Romany wagons using his woodwork and artistic talents, and he loved photography too like his dad. He also loved Border Collies and found peace raising them and comfort in animals. On the evening of Friday 18th December, he suddenly passed away, cause currently unknown. He was 59 years old.
Mark had a difficult life, but was able to find happiness in the simple things, and we take comfort that he’s reunited with our mum and dad, whom he adored, and they him. He will be laid to rest in Monmouthshire, Wales, with them, where he always wanted to be.
We appreciate the outpouring of love and well-wishes our families have received. If you would like to contribute towards memorial and funeral expenses for Mark you can do so here.
