Missions Trip to Kiev, Ukraine

I was contacted by Jeremiah's Hope, they were in great need of someone with a Russian speaking ability that would come to their camp from May 31st to June 9th to help translate. Kids that visit this camp are HUNGRY for love, and attention. Alcoholism and abuse is the norm for them and the Lord has put a task on my heart, which is to show these kids how BIG God's love is no matter what the circumstances may be. 

I have been offered the opportunity to go on a mission's trip to Kiev, Ukraine. I was instantly hesitant, but spending some quiet time with the Lord, He led me to

this verse... Mark 5:36 "Do not be afraid, only BELIEVE."

Jeremiah's Hope Inc. focuses on victims of alcoholic parents and children that are often dealing with abuse, hunger, neglect and poverty. The organization connects with the kids through summer camps where their property is home to a Rescue Shelter. They house kids temporarily after Social Services has removed them from their homes but have not yet placed them in a permanent home. My task would be translating the Russian language, building lasting relationships with children, assisting with camp programming, activities and other service work. This allows the workers of Jeremiah's hope the time and ability to build relationships with the kids in a deeper way.

Jeremiah's Hope offered to pay for my room and meals for the week, all I would need to pay for is my plane ticket, that's all. The total is $1600, and I am asking my dearest friends and family. PLEASE help me get there. If 50 people donated $20, I would be halfway there! I have until May 30th to raise the funds to purchase my plane ticket, and I have complete FAITH that God will take me there, and that He will provide. 

My heart is burning and longing to hug the children in pain, and I cannot wait to share the Good News with them, the Good News of the Lord which shall live and prosper forever and ever.
