Save the Eggs! (fight endometriosis)
Donation protected
I have endometriosis. It may not look like much from an outside perspective, but every day I am in pain. I have tried many medications, treatments, and even surgery, but I cannot seem to get rid of the pain or bleeding. I met with my doctors and have decided that my best option is to get a total hysterectomy. To give my future family the best possible chance, I will be freezing my eggs. This process is not covered by insurance, and is estimated to be around $16,000 - $6000 for the pre-treatment medications and $10,000 for surgery to extract them. There are also yearly fees for keeping them frozen until I am ready to begin to build my family. I plan to begin treatment within a month or two, and to receive both the hysterectomy and egg removal surgeries near the end of the year into early January. I only share this for those wanting to celebrate my birthday or the Christmas season with me, hoping that you may reconsider buying me a gift and instead help me with this difficult process. I am so grateful for any support, thank you.
Update: I am going to be undergoing a few more procedures in the next few weeks with the goal of minimizing my pain immediately. Since this includes additional surgery, the hysterectomy and egg freezing will be postponed a few months so my body can recover. I will keep everyone updated as best as I can, thank you again for supporting me through this. It is easier with your help ❤️
