Marion's Medical Fund

My mom, Marion Morris DeSanto, is the kindest, compassionate, most lively and optimistic person I have ever met. She is one of those people who lights up a room as soon as they walk in and will give her last $20 to a stranger on the street. She is the most wonderful mama to my older brother, older sister, myself, and all of her adopted "children", who started off as my sister and I's friends and my mom took them in as her own. My mom has been through hell and back in the last few years and in her lifetime, and still holds her strong faith in God and looking for the good in people. In early December of 2017 , my mom was diagnosed with an aggressive form of stage 2 breast cancer. The cancer has broken the walls and gone to her lymph nodes. She has made the brave and courageous decision of undergoing a double masectomy, along with chemo and radiation. Since her cancer is aggressive, my mom will have to do 6 months of chemotherapy, once a week, which she begins in a few weeks.  As you can imagine the medications she will need for chemo, the copays , and little things such as wigs and food that provide the nutrients she will need while undergoing chemo, are extremely expensive. My mom is not one to want to ask for help but as it is just my mom and I, it is impossible to be able to afford everything. The funds from here would go to her medical bills (chemo drugs, treatments, and copays), help pay for her holistic treatments, and food. The money would help ease the stress and burdens that have been thrown onto my mom and I. Thank you so much for your donations, love, and prayers.
