Marina Ahun artist fire fund
Donation protected
On Wed. night (12-27-17) I was burned out of my third floor apartment at Griggs Farm (low income housing in Princeton, NJ) along with several others in a multi-alarm, one fatality fire. I lost just about everything I own and I am not insured.
I am a self-employed, fine artist who has been squeaking by selling my watercolor art of Princeton on notecards and postcards locally to support myself (see my work at www.marinaahun.com).
I am safe and unharmed fortunately and now living at an extended stay facility provided by local housing authority, but I have to rebuild my life soon.
I am in need of cash, replacement of household furniture, a bed and personal items. I also need support to restore paintings that were
damaged or destroyed in the fire.
I can only roughly estimate that I need at least $25,000 to get back to where I was in my modest existance.
