Marilyn Johann's Brain surgery

Marilyn Johann of Bracebridge, ON, mother to four children and seven beautiful grandchildren and her family are in need of help.
Always known as ‘Momma Marilyn’ to all that know her, is the ultimate caregiver, and has been a leader in the programs of The Bracebridge School of Ballet, helping 100’s of dancers over many years achieve their goals.
Marilyn was diagnosed with three brain tumours in 2012 by Sunnybrook Hospital. As these tumours were in-operable, Homeopathic treatment was the only choice in attempting to stabilize and hopefully reduce these masses. Marilyn and her husband David Johann of Davids of Muskoka, moved to Mexico in 2018 to spend their retirement together and avoid the harsh Canadian winters.
In July 2020 Marilyn started experiencing debilitating seizures which caused almost complete memory loss, severe headaches, partial blindness and dramatic weight loss. A MRI was preformed and showed that Marilyn had an additional 6 extremely large new tumours. Marilyn and David went to a Neurologist in Guadalajara who felt that surgery was possible. The brain surgery would drain the six new cysts, relieving the extreme pressure in her brain and reducing some of the three original tumours, saving her eyesight, improving her quality of life and restoring a semblance of normalcy that we all deserve as we age.
With the pandemic, there was no choice but to have the life saving surgery in Mexico and the gruelling yet successful surgery was preformed August 22nd. As you can imagine, the medical bills are seemingly insurmountable.
