Mariem Fights Cancer

Mariem is Cancer Free. It has been an eighteen-month battle with numerous ups and downs but her doctors have declared her Cancer Free.

Mariem underwent an aggressive treatment program that was a strain for both her and her family. She was in and out of Children’s Hospital during her battle. She will still have to undergo periodic monitoring to ensure she remains cancer free.

It has taken a toll on her and her family but, your support and wishes have help to see them through. We can’t thank you enough for all you have done during her struggle. It made a tremendous difference in their lives.

Mariem worked throughout the entire battle to continue her education even through the darkest times and has remained on schedule with her schooling. On a brighter note, she has been cleared to return to in-person schooling for the upcoming school year. She is looking forward to returning to a normal life and continuing her education.

As a part of that normal life, she is hoping to take an education trip to France and Spain during the summer of 2023.
