Marie lives in St. Michaels, Maryland, and was injured June 23, 2017 in a horseback riding accident.
She has a head injury with skull fracture, broken ribs and is currently in a coma. Marie is a child of God who loves the Lord with all her heart. We are trusting in his healing power and mercy to bring her through this injury.
Donations will help with travel for the family, medical costs not covered by insurance, Marie's household expenses if she is not able to return to work, and whatever the family needs.

After looking at the area where the accident occurred showing the evidence, we concluded the horse owned by owner for 10 years, who is a competent rider for 33 yrs, leaped over a ditch, rider fell over shoulder, poorly buckled or unbuckled hat fell off, before she hit the road. Hat was 15' away from where she fell. Horse came home immediately, found by barn staff, 911 dispatched, flew to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where she remains in the Neuro Unit.
More about me: I am Ruth Thomas of Preston, MD, and a very close friend of Marie's. We travel together, and have known each other for 30 years. The funds raised will be transferred into an account for Marie, managed by her attorney.
