Mariano’s fight against Lymphoma

 Hi my name is Ryan Packard and I am starting this page on behalf of one of my best friends Mariano Hernandez.
Earlier this month one of my best friends, who also is a teamate and like a brother to me and many others went to the doctor for a lump that had been noted on his face. After continuous testing and doctor’s appointments he was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Mariano is scheduled to start chemotherapy later this week. We know he has a long road ahead, and we are starting this page as a way to show Mariano we’re all supporting him. 

For those of you that do not know Mariano, he is one of the close group of friends I have grown up with since Pee-Wee football. Currently a Junior at Oneonta High School, who was selected to the Section 4 All Star team this past season, and  holds a handful of records at OHS. In addition to be an outstanding football player, he is one guy you can count on to have your back and is always able to make someone laugh. Always willing to help out wherever he can. 

Mariano is one of four siblings. Mariano’s mother, Erin, always welcomes friends of his into their home and treats them as one of her own, if it’s cracking jokes with us, taking us to practice/ games or fixing us a meal. She works very hard to support her family, and is always willing to help others. We have setup this page for people to help out Mariano and his family with expenses related to his treatment.
