Hi, My name is Shauna, I'm raising money to help my dad Bruce cover funeral expenses for my mom Maria Libby. Being on a fixed income it was hard to put money away on top of many medical expenses not covered by insurance.
Maria recently lost a long battle with kidney failure. She was born and raised in the Azores and came to America with her family in the 1970s where she met my dad at Perkins school for the blind. They were married for 44 years and had 1 daughter. She loved bowling, fashion, animals, flowers, bird watching, trips to the beach singing and loved music very much but the Beatles and Emisunshine were her favorites and she was one of the founding sunshiners.
Maria is survived by her husband Bruce, daughter Shauna and son-in-law James Silver, her sister, mother-in-law, Maria & Victor Santos (aunt) David and Alice Garcia (uncle) and Olivia Garcia (aunt & godmother) and also survived by her godchild David D. Garcia.many aunts,uncles, and cousins.
Visitation and services will be from 1pm-3:30pm Wednesday 4/26/23 at kinder funeral home . 130 pleasant st Richmond maine
