Maria Furtado's Memory Fund

Maria Furtado was a loving mother, committed wife, and faithful sister and friend.  A "mom" to so many, she affected everyone around her with her infectious smile and kind and generous spirit. She held family dear to her heart; there are countless lives that love her and will miss her, both from the States and from her other treasured home, Kuwait. She was inspired, brilliant, and hard-working in her field of work; she was amiable and respected by her colleagues at the Saint Agnes Medical Center. There is no one that could have met her, that wouldn't have fallen in love. She leaves behind many, including her loyal husband, John, loving daughter, Ansley, and beloved dog, Snooby. 

The medical expenses are very high due to her time in the ICU. Her departure was unexpected, so there are no substantial funds previously set up. A funeral requires many urgent expenses, and we need help making the next several days as peaceful and stress free as possible.
