Maria and Bryan Ceasar were in Tallahassee when they were in a terrible car accident on Friday, August 11th. Both were transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in critical condition. They both sustained brain injuries and several fractured/broken bones.
Maria and Bryan spent about a week in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where they went from ventilators to getting well enough to move out to the regular floor. They still have a long road ahead.
As of today, August 22, they are well enough to transfer to an in patient rehab facility where they will receive specialized care.
For now, their needs are still unclear. Because it's an auto-accident, there are many layers of insurance; but they will have deductibles to meet, not only medical bills but normal monthly bills (both household incomes are obviously affected), home care they may possible need and we don't have a clear timeline as to when they will be recovered and back to work.
The funds will be withdrawn by Yesenia, their daughter, and applied to any expenses necessary.
