Interlochen Arts Academy: Tuition Fund

This January I flew out to Michigan to audition for the Interlochen Arts Academy boarding high school. During my short time there I discovered what an amazing school it is, and fell in love with the idea of being able to attend the Arts Academy.

I recently learned that I have been accepted for the singer-songwriter major and I am very much looking forward to spending my last two years of high school there.

Before high school I attended Nevada City School of the Arts where I was greatly exposed to, and found a passion for music. For the last few years I have been growing and developing musically, all the while striding towards my goal of having a music-related career. I have been taking voice and piano lessons, and have briefly studied the cello and guitar. I have also been a part of a band, my current high school's concert choir, and have participated in various music workshops. All of these things contribute to my main area of interest, songwriting. Interlochen seems to be the best place possible for me to grow further as a musician and a person. Here is their website, in case you want to take a look:

The tuition fee for Interlochen stands at roughly $51,000 per year. I will most likely be allotted a large sum of financial aid, but even with that I will probably still need additional financial support. I am making all the efforts I can to come up with money, this site included. Please, if it is at all possible, give something towards my musical education. All the money raised will be contributed to paying the tuition fee and any additional costs. Remember, anything helps, and I hope that next year I will be able to tell you about my experiences at Interlochen Arts Academy and share my music with you.Thanks!
