Marc’s Motorcycle Accident

As some of you may know my brother, Marc Sirockman, was studying at a yoga retreat in Bali, Indonesia. Marc was one week shy of graduating the program where he was excited to return home to start teaching.
This is past Sunday evening my parents received a horrific call from the US Embassy saying my brother was in a serious accident. Right now, we don’t have a lot of information on his accident, but it seems as though he was hit by a car and found unconscious. He is currently laying in a primitive hospital with a broken jar, broken orbital bones, a punctured lung, and most scary of a brain bleed. My dad just touched down in Bali several hours ago, where he is trying to communicate with the doctors and figure out a plan of action. My family wants him home, but with a 25+ hour plan ride and a fragile state, we are praying for guidance through this difficult time.
As a family, it is not natural for us to ask for help. But we now know my brother does not have insurance and the hospitals in Bali operate very differently from that in the United States. We first ask for prayers for my brother. But second, in this time of emergency we ask for any amount of donation. The hospital bill, medical evacuation, and recovery back home will be extensive and I know Marc will be so appreciative of any gift. We need an army of support right now and we are so thankful for all of the love.
