Marcos Baca Memorial Fund

Marcos Baca (20) was tragically killed in a hit and run motorcycle accident on Saturday, November 13th. Marcos was heading home from an SMRI awards ceremony which celebrated the victories of the racing community where he won several awards when his life was tragically taken. The person responsible for this horrendous act has currently not been identified and we could use the support of this community to help raise funds for a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for Marcos' death. Our prayers are with Marcos' family and friends while they grieve the loss of this beautiful human. He touched the lives of so many in his short time and his absence will be felt everyday. "The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office Traffic Investigations Unit is seeking the public's assistance in regards to a fatal hit and run motorcycle crash that occurred on November 13, 2021 at approximately 11:35PM at the intersection of Arenal Rd. and Tapia Blvd SW. Investigators are looking for a small, black, 4-door car that is believed to have significant damage to the passenger side and possibly scorch marks from a small fire that occurred at the moment of impact.
