The Battlefield High School Marching Band program needs your support. We are looking to raise $13,200 to help pay for additions to our music library, staff, transportation, maintenance and replacement of marching band uniforms, and equipment for marching band, and color guard. The marching band plays at all the home football games and select away games; competes in Virginia Band and Orchestra Association, Bands of America, and other local competitions; marches in local parades; and we would be proud to represent our Haymarket/Gainesville community at Bands of America, recognized as the most prestigious competition for high school marching bands. We are supported by the BHS administration, but much of our funding is the responsibility of the Band Support Organization which is registered with the IRS as a non-profit 501 (c)3 tax-deductible organization.
You have the opportunity to join the Battlefield High School Marching Band as we work together to provide funds needed to fully support our program and its talented students. It is our goal to make an impact in our community, in Virginia, and across the nation.
