Marcellus Hughes

Marcellus Hughes was a selfless man that promoted diveristy and inclusivness in the Greater Kansas City area.  His involment with community organizations were:  He was the President of the Kansas City Black Chamber of Commerce, Director of Membership for the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Bureau where he formed the Youth Career Fair for the Kansas City School District, and was appointed to the P.I.E.A. board by Mayor Sly James.  Marcellus was a prominient leader in many other civic organizations throughout his entire life.

Marcellus advanced to his next calling on October 9, 2017 unexpectedly.  Health issues prohibited him from obtaining life insurance.  Unfortunatly medical and funeral expenses have exceeded any funds available.  Your rememberance of this great man would follow in his path of community giving.
