Marcel's ER and Surgery Cost Fund

Our dear friends Kirsten and Sally need your help.
Yesterday K and S received the devastating news that their 3 month old Frenchie puppy Marcel has a congenital condition where his pylorus (the opening from his esophagus to his stomach) is too small to allow food through. This causes him to regurgitate almost all food and liquids he consumes.
After a traumatic week of trying to care for a very sick puppy and not knowing the cause of his illness, Sally and Kirsten took Marcel to the ER. He is currently at the puppy hospital where they inserted a feeding tube and have him receiving liquids via an IV. Marcel will most likely have to stay in the hospital until they are able to get him to a surgery consult, which could be a couple days or over a week.
Already in the past week K and S have spent nearly $10k to keep Marcel alive and they are expecting their costs to double after surgery and follow ups. The surgery to artificially widen his pylorus has a promising success rate, and after losing their first baby Poca nearly two years ago to another unpreventable and terminal genetic illness, letting Marcel succumb to his disease without a fight is not an option.
It cannot be overstated how much the help of friends and family means to Kirsten and Sally, and they do not ask for assistance lightly. Surviving in the restaurant industry during a pandemic and taking on a new mortgage is stressful enough, but the emotional and financial burden of a sick puppy is heartbreaking.
We know that everyone is struggling right now and there isn't one person who hasn't been affected by COVID-19 in some way. That being said, please only donate if you are comfortable doing so. We don't wish to add to our loved ones financial stress during this already incredibly stressful time.
