Marathon in a Month for Barretstown

Hello everyone!
I know it is a crazy time at the moment but I thought I try to do something good for a charity close to my heart and celebrate this achievement. I am delighted to say that 2020 marks my 20th years being cancer-free! At the age of three, I was diagnosed with leukaemia and was put on chemotherapy for two years in Tallaght Hospital and I am delighted to say I have been cancer-free from 2000. I wanted to mark this incredible milestone by raising money a charity that helped my family through this difficult period, Barretstown. This wonderful charity mission is To rebuild the lives of children affected by serious illness, and their families, through a life-changing Therapeutic Recreation programme in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. Barretstown serious fun camp is a magical place that helps so many children and their families, and they need our help more than ever.
I was planning on doing a few sports events over the course of the year but COVID-19 has halted this, however I intend on running the distance of a marathon (maybe more) during the month of May.
