Marathon for Murphy's Army

On the 2/3/2018, while on a walk Ollie went on to the ice at Leeds Liverpool canal, the ice broke and he panicked. He swam under the ice, despite the best efforts of Alex and Emma going into the canal and cracking the ice, he unfortunately passed away.

 Ollie was a much loved family member and the thought of him been in the canal was devastating. Murphy's Army was tagged in one of the numerous facebook posts about Ollie. The next morning Andy and Martin from the charity came out and went in the freezing canal to help retrieve Ollie. 

This gave our family great comfort and some closure. To help these amazing people my dad (Andrew Carter) is running the Manchester marathon on the 08/04/2018 and we would like to raise some money to say Thank you to this amazing charity.
