Manuel Patino After Brain Tumor Surgery Support

Fundraising for my father and father in law Manuel Patiño.

My dad Manuel Patiño has been always a giving and friendly person that is always happy and in a good mood. Three weeks ago my dad had a brain surgery to remove a brain tumor. His recovery is going to be a very slow long term process due to his age and the complexity of his surgery. Our family has been helping provide funds to cover medical expenses and as of right now he still needs 24/7 care by a nurse at home. We had to buy a medical bed for him to make it easier for him and for the nurse and my mom to be able to care for him. He also gets in home therapy administered by professionals in order to help him with his mobility and speech because he is not able to walk or talk just yet. According to his doctors, his recovery is going to be a very slow process that requires ongoing care. His insurance paid for surgery but there is a whole a lot of things that are required for him and these are not covered by his insurance, neither that care provided by his at home nurse. Therapists are needed and  medical equipment that he is using. This will be a long term need. We also had to modify his diet as he is not able to eat regular meals. We will be extremely grateful for any contributions that anyone could offer towards his ongoing care.
