My name is Manpreet and I'm in my first year of art school at University of Alberta in Canada. I grew up in a small city near Delhi, India, and just moved to Canada in September 2017 to begin my studies.
The last few months have been very important for me as art school has always been my dream. It means so much to have the opportunity to study with incredible professors and other talented peers. I hope to continue this invaluable experience and grow as an artist and person by continuing my art school journey.
I'm grateful to my professor for sharing this comment about my first semester:
"I want to encourage all friends to help Manpreet continue to study at the U of A. ! He was one of my students last term and seldom has there been a student who has improved so much in one term! He is kind and respected by colleagues and instructors. He is an excellent photographer and I think his future is remarkably bright!!!"

This fund is to cover my tuition for the Spring Semester 2018. I will be grateful just to reach this goal which will cover my tuition fees, but any additional money will go towards purchasing art supplies for school and future semesters.
