Manuel "Manolo" Hurtado Memorial

Manuel “Manolo” Arturo Hurtado was born on March 7, 1945 and was taken too soon. He was an incredible and devoted husband, a great father, grandfather and a loving friend who always had a good sense of humor. Manolo loved his wife, his children, grandchildren, his dog Skippy and his mascot cats. His grandchildren called him “Papa Nolo” and he claimed that his grandchildren gave him life.  Manolo was a hard and selfless working man who was passionate about his business, Manolo Auto Paint. He lived simply and enjoyed having coffee and bread everyday. 


Unfortunately, our father unexpectedly had a heart attack and was hospitalized on March 9th. After being transferred to a more equipped hospital, the doctors performed procedures to help the blood flow through his heart which was successful. For days, Manolo fought hard and became conscious and aware. He held on for life in hopes to recover and spend the rest of his days living back home in Guatemala.  There were hopes and talks of him being able to go home in a few days. To our disbelief, on Sunday morning, March 18, 2018, Manolo’s heart could no longer continue and he passed away. 


He is survived by his loving wife, Leticia Hurtado, their children, Juan Carlos, Vivian, Manola, Ricardo, and their six grandchildren, Danny, Alex, Isabella, Allison, Miranda and Nataly.
