Manni - Clark Family Homeless Emergency Funds

2 years ago, after losing my fiancé ( Stephon Clark ) my family and I moved to Southern California to grieve and learn how to move forward.. As we are renting a home, fast forward to two weeks ago June 13th, what started out as a pipe leak inside the bathroom walls led to a pipe bursting and became something much worse and possibly cancerous. A plumber didn’t come out until Wednesday, June 17th. During the process, the plumbers put large fans in the bathrooms and hallways to dry up the wet walls and wet carpet. The bad part is, the fans were added before the Asbestos testing was done. Then the worst happens, on Wednesday, June 24th Asbestos was discovered. [Asbestos is very dangerous and cancerous; causes lung disease from inhaling asbestos fibers]. On Friday, June 26th we were informed that Asbestos had been spread throughout the master bedroom; completely damaging ALL furniture and clothing stored in the room. Then, we were notified that because the fans were blowing in the house, the Asbestos fibers had been spread throughout the WHOLE HOUSE. Completely damaging everything owned in our home.. EVERYTHING having to be DISCARDED because it’s all been exposed. Since finding out this information on June 26th we have been homeless, living in a hotel room trying to replace our necessity items slowly. During this pandemic it has been real hard times, and while waiting for the home owners insurance to be processed, we are asking for any help that you can provide that way we can replace our furniture, clothing and other belongings that have been destroyed and live comfortably until our home is safe for us to live in again.
