Hi Everyone, Its with a heavy heart that I announce the death of Rufina Manka Onga at the Limbe Regional hospital after a protracted illness.
Born on April 24th 1969 at Buea. Manka attended primary school at Buea town and the prestigious Saker Baptist College. She went on to GHS limbe and furthered her studies in Germany. She returned after some years and went to designing school in yaounde. Thats why Manka is known and loved by many.
Manka was a friend, a sister and a go to when ever anyone needed help. She was a seasoned Decorator who worked for alot of people in limbe. Manka was greatly Loved by almost all who crossed her path.
Manka had severe asthma from birth and the condition worsened as she moved into an apartment that had been freshly painted with lead.Her asthma flared as she went into one respitory complication after the other, her condition worsened tangled with other opportunistic diseases that crept in and made her frail.
Adrienne here senior sister flew many times to help manka with her frequent hospitalisations and ill health. Last being 03/13 as she returned to her base in Germany and Manka passed the following day in the afternoon. 03/14/21
MANKAS SOUL IS FREE she died a staunch believer.
She will be greatly missed. May her gentle soul RIP.
Manka lives behind 1 brother, 4 sisters, host of family members and friends to mourn her passing.
You know as it goes when you return from an African trip. Please help us give Manka a befitting funeral by contributing towards this project.
