MAN BROKE MY JAW

Donation protected
Here we go again!

If you don’t already know, my jaw was broken by a man back in May 2019, a month after I relocated to northern Thailand. My life of traveling the world was pretty much put on hold then. I was always staying at home, healing. It took a long time to adapt to and accept my situation. This was a BIG change for me that I didn’t sign up for! (You can read the whole story from the assault here: https://www.gofundme.com/a-man-broke-my-jaw-need-surgery).

I know that it looks like I’m really living my dreams out here in Thailand, but I’m not just stuck here because of Covid, I am still here because I am still dealing with / repairing the damage caused both physically and mentally since the assault here last year that resulted in my broken jaw. My court case was closed last month and it broke me that no justice was served and he is still out there doing as he pleases, regardless of his guilty sentencing!

Two surgeries and 18 plus months later, I am still not finished. Technically, this is now a problem I will deal with for the rest of my life. Not only because broken bones never truly heal, nor is it only because my job as a model, but now I have braces! If you ever had them, you know that you have to continue to care for your teeth more than most, not just during their time on, but for the remainder of your time. It’s been five weeks now and we put on the bottom set this week!

I got the clearance from my maxiofacial surgeon back in August on my jaw bone. We opted to leave the metal bar in my mouth, but needed to remove more teeth. After that, I was recommended an orthodontist to now correct my smile. Having my jaw wired shut, two times, for two months, it really affected my teeth and nearly everything shifted, different directions.. My teeth were never perfect but they were pretty damn near it! And as if I hadn’t been through enough yet, we are looking at 7-10 months with a full mouth of braces.

I knew this was going to have to happen, as soon as we took the wires off the first time! I instantly saw how much my teeth had shifted, all different directions..  They assured me they would shift back, which they did, just not to their origins. There wasn’t much to do then aside for wait for my jaw to heal. So here we are now, healed enough, with endless appointments and an ever steady rising credit card bill.

I have never in my life, owed on my credit cards. I always pay my bills on time. I don’t spend money I don’t have. I have an excellent credit score (in case you’re shopping for a partner, I’m a good choice). I know I am not the only one struggling during Covid right now. Living overseas for almost two years, my income is entirely online! That being said, my income has gone down about 60-75%!!!!! That is drastic! Even though living here is affordable on my income, I am struggling with keeping on top of my bills and increasing my income.

Every and any dollar amount helps me more than you could ever imagine! I would really like to start off the new year fresh and less stressed after living through the craziest chapter of my life!!! If you know me, that is saying a WHOLE lot!
