Malin to Mizen for Marymount
Donation protected
In memory of Ann Trinder, who would have been 60 this year, Brian and Mark Trinder are cycling from Malin Head (the most Northerly point in Ireland) to Mizen Head (the most Southerly point).
The Cycle will take 5 days to complete, beginning on August 2nd and covering over 650km.
Funds are being raised for Marymount Hospice. All donations will be gratefully received.
Marymount Hospice provides care to patients with progressive illness, both cancer and non-cancer, at a time when pain or other symptom issues need addressing. Patients on active treatment may benefit from a short term admission for symptom control and rehabilitation. Support is offered to families facing loss or who are bereaved. Marymount is the designated Specialist Care Centre for the Cork/Kerry region serving a population of approximately 600,000.
Marymount's mission statement is "providing excellent care, we cherish the uniqueness and dignity of each person, showing compassion and respect. We strive for quality and integrity in all we do.”
