Malik "Khalifa" Nouman Shahzad Family

Hello All! Some of you know my friend Khalifa (nickname) from Pakistan. What most of you may not be aware of is the difficult place he and his family are in. Khalifa has had to step away from the regular scene for a few months now, due to being laid off as a result of COVID measures back in September. I'm sure we all know people in our lives that are having to contend with similar situations. However, Khalifa was already pressed hard even before the COVID pandemic began.
Malik (Khalifa) is one of the most gracious and giving people I have had the privilege of knowing. He's deeply rooted in his faith and God, has an amazing attitude towards life and stellar work ethic. He has been supporting his family for several years. His household consists of himself, his chronically ill mother, father, sister, two brothers, a sister-in-law, a niece and a nephew. Malik has been supporting them all, but losing his job has put them in a precarious place. He has been able to pick up some temporary labor jobs during this time, but it's not enough to keep pace with nine mouths to feed, bills, and rent. At this time, they are struggling to put food on the table, pay bills, and are behind on payments and on the verge of losing their home.
My friend Barnes and I really admire this guy. You would never know how bad their situation is because he is such a positive person. Every time I talk with him he asks how I am doing...how my family is doing...even how my dog is doing...and encourages me in my endeavors. He never complains or has a bad attitude. He always says "hope for the best" and "just send my family prayers boss." He puts it in God's hands every day.
So Barnes and I decided to see what we can do to help. We thought of seeking out angels to help our friend. Gofundme is a reputable and transparent group funding vehicle, so that anybody contributing knows their dollars are acknowledged.
I personally want to thank in advance anybody who decides to contribute. It doesn't have to be a fortune...$10 or $20 goes a long way. You guys are great.
