In Loving Memory of Malcolm Tietzer

Donation protected
This morning on September 13th, Malcolm Tietzer passed away after fighting a nine month battle with glioblastoma multiforme, a form of brain cancer. Malcolm is our mom's beloved husband and our baby sister's sweet and loving daddy.
Since his diagnosis this past December, it has been a deeply emotional and trying time as our family has had to face this devestation of a loss. The strength it has taken our mom to be by his side every single day as her world turned upside-down, and having to cope with the grief and heartache, while showering him with love and raising their little girl, is the most admirable and inspiring experience a person could witness. She was the light of his life, as he was hers.
Emily is a twelve year-old girl who follows in her dad's footsteps by carrying the strength, the courage, and the creativity that Malcolm always had. She is currently taking guitar lessons, something she also took after her dad, and is the most passionate ballerina of anyone else her age. Emily is our mom's sixth child, and is truly the most special person we've ever known. She was his little Doopie, and his pride and joy.
Malcolm also has two sons and a step-daughter of his own - Max, Zachary, and Lisa - who adds to our big, crazy, loving family as we have all blended into one. We pray for them especially now, as we know they need the strength just as much.
Our mom and Emily will be adjusting to their new life while forever missing who they feel was the rock of their family foundation. With all this tragedy going on in the world, we graciously ask for our friends and family to stand by us with your support and prayers. Although no dollar amount could change these sad circumstances, we are asking for anything that anyone has in their heart to offer to help make our mom and sister's life feel as normal as possible, with funeral expenses and household bills until our mom gets back on her feet.
Our mom would always say it best - there is no one else like Malcolm. He was kind, soft spoken, and his top priority was to always take care of his family. And we, as Jillian's kids, are eternally grateful and appreciative of that. He was always an angel to them - now he has his wings and can fly with them everywhere they go.

With all our love... thank you.
