Malakai's Medical Fund

I don't know exacty where to start, as I sit here next to my little sunshine. He's sick again. This means, as said by a pediatric nephrologist, a renal biopsy should be performed.  It was discovered in the begining of 2017, that Malakai was having an episode of what's called glomerulonephritis. He has been to the hospital, the doctor and the specialist multiple times since with reoccurring episodes. The underlying cause has yet to be determined. We have ruled out many things through blood tests and ultrasound. Malakai has a genetic trait which has been considered as an underlying cause, if this were to be determined as the cause, he would be an extremely rare case. If it is determined that the genetic trait is not the cause, that there is a different underlying cause, again, he will be an extremely rare case. He gets an episode of glomerulonephritis every single time he gets sick. The one time he got it without being sick prior, was right after vaccinations, so being sick in a different way. With all this being said, this current episode he is having is the worst he's had so far. I'd been rejected by TNCare and rejected by every other insurance company I've tried to enroll him in. I'm counting down the days until open enrollment. And in the meantime racking up bills for the doctor, the nephrologist, the hospitals, the blood tests, the imaging, etc. Now that it's been determined he needs to undergo further investigation, it will keep racking up. Any little help, is a huge help. I am in way over my head in medical debt for my baby boy with much more to come. My gofundme goal isnt even half of what I currently owe.
