Mako's Health Journey

Mako has been ill for about two months now, as we’ve tried to get to the bottom of it... we finally have some answers. On 01/04/21 Mako was diagnosed with Von Willibrand disease - this means his blood does not clot properly and injuries are dangerous to him... that same night Mako started having breathing issues and formed a new mass on his chest. 

1/5/21 We rushed Mako to the Frederick Care VetPet ER - his doctor here informed us Mako is currently bleeding out with hematomas that got out of control.. Mako needs to stay in hospitalization care for multiple needs with extensive care. We love we’re expecting a high CT scan bill however not expecting to leave our baby at the hospital and have an extremely high bill with blood transfusions. - the money were asking help with is just to try and keep our boy alive and get him home!

Mako is our first baby and, truly treated like it. He is no different than a son to us -  it's eating us up inside that we can't help him more then what we're doing. He will be two years old in March and is oh so loved. He's a big snuggle bear with a funny personality. He is so loving, kind, and just purely loves people and all other animals. Mako loves to go on family hikes and beach vacations - and we want to have him around for these things. 

We are to a point where we feel helpless and are asking for your help so we can keep our baby around. It would mean the world to us if you could offer anything. 

I will share details of what the money goes towards and if the worst case occurs I will be putting the money towards another pup who needs the help.
