Making smiles with milo!

Donation protected
Hi my name is Emma and I’m a friend of Laura and Stephen who are the parents of milo Browne (smilo)

As most of you know, Milo has defied the odds all of his life. On the 11th December milo was rushed to hospital with influenza A where he was so poorly. Due to the level of care needed he should have went to Picu where he most definately would have died, he has been very very poorly in hospital over Xmas and new year and is still really poorly but has bounced back once again.
The family have had long conversations with doctors about milos current health needs and the severity of these and have decided that they don’t want milo to die in hospital but instead make the most of their time with him at home.
They have made the decision that no parent should ever have to make but to bring their boy home from hospital for the last time on palliative care.

My initial goal of £5k is with the intention of taking the pressure off the family while they care for milo until the end and for them to be able to make lasting memories for them and the other children.
I do hope to exceed this amount if we can with the hope that after milos death the family can grieve for their boy without worrying about funeral costs, bills and the cost of moving house again. With milo gone the council will ask the family to leave their adapted home so that another family can benefit from the adaptions, leaving Stephen and Laura having to leave their home where their memories of milo are and uprooting their other children from their home.

its every parents nightmare to loose their child so I have decided to set this up for the family to help with the cost of making memories with milo. Things that they can do as a family with their other young sons Felix and fox and their daughter Mia!

This year has already been and is going to be the toughest on them knowing that their son is going to die. I just want to be able to help and take some of the pressure off while they take care of their critically Ill son without having to worry about money and bills and other things for after he has gone

He’s been a huge inspiration to many people, and Stephen and Laura are always the first people to help others in anyway they can, myself included when I needed to raise money for my daughters epilepsy monitoring equipment. They have collected and donated presents to the hospital 3 years running as well as supplying much needed personal care items to the heart unit at the Freeman hospital. I think they deserve a rest and for us to repay their kindness for a change.

love Emma
