Making Musicians- Master's Degree for Mr. Kaye

My name is Joshua Kaye; and I am a musician, mentor, and Grammy nominated music educator. I teach full time at Hellen Caro Elementary (K-5), and I give private music lessons part time at my father’s music studio, Ron Kaye’s Music Instruction. I love what I do and continually utilize innovative methods with all of my students. I have been able to provide my students with great experiences including performances throughout the community and with professional and Grammy award winning artists. At my school, I helped raise over $12,000 for our music program. I love helping people of all ages discover the joy of making music and become life-long learners.


My passion for teaching has led me to pursue an online masters degree in music education at Boston University. The education and experiences that I receive from this program will help me continue to bring out the best of all of my students. In order to do this, I need your help. This program will cost over $30,000 to complete. As a teacher, I currently work two jobs as well as various freelance gigs just to pay the bills. The added cost of this degree will put me in debt for a long time. Anything you give is greatly appreciated and, please, feel free to share this campaign with friends and family.
