The Angels Mission

 

As some of you may be aware our charity CCSHF has sadly closed down. Now it is time to announce our next venture, which we hope will help many families. You may be aware that sadly in 2018 we lost our son Carrick. We were then nominated for a FREE week’s holiday at a caravan site. Whilst on this holiday we hadn’t realized that we had taken so many photos & videos of our little ones which made us smile & giggle, even to this day we still look at the MEMORIES we had made which are completely priceless. Sadly, with our older children we didn’t get to take many photos or videos as sometimes cameras etc. were quite expensive & we didn’t have mobile phones like we do now. We noticed that we did not have many photos or videos of them when they sadly lost their lives. After having a holiday, we sat & thought how could we do something like this, so we thought & thought for some time. Then we had an idea to raise funds to be able to offer people the same thing, a FREE holiday. Some amazing people got involved to help raise some money in Carrick’s memory to be able to help us achieve this goal.So, in April 2021 we visited a caravan site & spoke to them & explained what we wanted to do, give FREE holidays to people who have sadly lost a loved one especially a child & suffering with their mental health. Did we have enough funds to be able to do this?

Then it happened, we purchased a static caravan in Skegness which we have called Carrick’s Retreat. Most of the summer we were out there changing bits here & there, well we say changing bits is an understatement. We reupholstered all the seating areas, new carpets throughout, new shower fitted etc., we thought it would never end lol but we got there. Pictures will follow. Now the caravan is all up & running, this is where you all come in to help.

We are now looking for nominations for families who have suddenly lost a loved one i.e. Parent or child. WE will look at ALL applications & then we will offer a FREE family holiday in Skegness. We can only accommodate families up to 6.

There will be a couple of conditions attached (nothing major)

Condition 1. You are able to take as many photos & videos as you can & make as many memories as you can.

Condition 2. That you are able to share at least 1 photo with us with you all smiling & enjoying yourselves. We hope that won’t be too difficult for you.

Condition 3. There will be a £100 deposit which will be returned to you after inspection upon you leaving. Sadly, if there are any breakages this will come out of your deposit.

Please do bear in mind that we cannot offer this to everyone, we know some will feel disappointed at not being successful in having a FREE holiday, we can only do what we can. Don’t give up the 1st time keep trying.

We will be back to going out fundraising as soon as weather permits.

but in meantime we still need to raise funds , for our gifts we will leave for families on arrival ,Tea coffee crisps pop colouring books etc this comes to around £10 pound per family.

we also need to be able to pay our cleaner this can be around £50/60 after each family leaves. if you can support us no matter how big or small then please do.
