Making memories for Shane, Michelle and Harlow

Hello, we are Clare and Mitch, Michelle and Shane's friends. We’ve set this Go Fund Me up in order to help Shane and Michelle.

 

Shane and Michelle moved from Ireland to the beautiful Australia a little over 9 years ago to create a new life for themselves. They’ve achieved that, and it has been made magical by their beautiful and cheeky little 2-year-old daughter, Harlow.

 

Recently Shane has been presented with news which no one would like to hear. He has unfortunately been diagnosed with grade 4 brain cancer. This has been a complete surprise and the past few weeks have been an absolute roller coaster of a ride for Shane and Michelle, something you wouldn’t wish on anyone let alone a young man and his family.

 

Shane will soon commence radiation therapy which will take 6 weeks and chemotherapy for a period of 12 months in order to battle the cancer. Unfortunately, due to the location of the tumour, operations to remove the cancer are not recommended at this point.

 

In order to allow Shane, Michelle and Harlow to create as many memories as time will allow them, if you would like to support the family, then please feel free to donate. All money will go directly to Shane and Michelle and this will help them to continue to pay expenses and afford a level of financial freedom which means they can focus less on work and more on creating memories.
