Making Memories for Marie X

With Marie's permission, we Marie's close friends want to share her story.

Marie's cancer journey started in August 2019 when she found a lump on her breast just a few short weeks after loosing her beloved mother Angela.

It transpired that this lump was unfortunately cancer. Like a trooper she fought this cancer with a mastectomy, weeks of Radiation & other medication. The happiness & relief was something else when she finally got the all clear in August 2021.

Marie had a new outlook on life, this was the beginning of the rest of her & life, making special memories with her beautiful daughter Emily & loving boyfriend Pa, celebrating Emily's Holy Communion, taking family trips to the beach, camping trips & days out in Tramore on the amusements & of course recently getting engaged to her amazing partner Pa & starting their wedding plans.

Just 1 short year in remission, August 2022, Marie found another lump.

Full of optimism & positivity she was sure everything would be ok.

Recently, Marie received a diagnosis that none of us could have ever invisaged or expected.

Incurable Secondary Breast Cancer (Metastatic Cancer ) Stage 4.

To be dealt this card in life once is hard enough, but a second time with this diagnosis is truly heartbreaking for Marie, her family & friends.

We want to help Marie in every way possible to keep creating special memories with her beautiful family, help with expenses during her treatment & find alternative treatments.
