Help Makenna fight Leukemia!

I recently found out that the daughter of a friend of mine from back home and her husband was diagnosed with Leukemia.  Makenna is only 5 years old and just started Kindergarten this year.  She is a beautiful little girl with a bright future ahead of her.

Makenna and her family are from Montana.  About a month ago, Makenna started to not feel well.  They tested her for several things, but the tests did not give the answers they needed.  Because there are no children's hospitals there, she and her family had to go to Spokane, WA for additional testing.  This weekend, her results came back positive for Leukemia.  

They will be in Spokane for at least a month while she undergoes chemotherapy.  They will now have medical bills, of course, and because they are away from home, they will need additional money for food, lodging, etc- all of this with the holidays fast approaching.

I am asking friends and family to help however they can so that Nicole, Chris and their girls don't have to face a huge financial burden in addition to everything they are going through emotionally while they get treatment for Makenna.  If you cannot contribute financially, I ask that you send some prayers their way- for strength, happiness, and complete recovery for Makenna.  Every little bit helps.  Thank you all for your kindness- I hope that we can all make a huge difference for this sweet family during such a hard time.
