Help make Showcase on Main the spotlight of the Elkton!
Over a year ago we came to Minihane's Irish Pub to start bringing the performing arts to downtown Elkton. Now, through the help of MANY people in town, we have managed to secure a permanent home at 112/114 W. Main Street.
We LOVE our SPACE! But we need help to complete it and turn it into Elkton’s Theatre! Right now we have a large open space, with stud walls and florescent lights. Everything in the space is ‘half’ finished. The brand new HVAC system is installed and duct work is run, now we need vents and the system turned on… the bathrooms are roughed in, but now we need fixtures and finishes… the electric is roughed in, but now we need outlets and switches… the walls are framed out, but now we need drywall and paint.
Our goal is to be open by March 2018. Ambitious? Yes! But we would have it no other way! In fact, we already have programming planned for March through June of next year. And, with your help, we will be able to start bringing the performing arts to Elkton by St. Patrick’s Day!
Once open, we have plans for a season of plays and musical, comedy nights, concerts, open mic’s and much much much more.
Soon we will start showing before and after picture’s as we make progress inside! We can not wait to open up Elkton’s theatre, and make the performing arts an integral part of Downtown Elkton!
