Make Paris a warmer place

Hello, we are calling on you to help us raise 2,000€ during the next two weeks to give to the homeless people we see every day in Paris. We are a non-profit association called Penia created by 7 good-hearted, motivated and dynamic students who are trying to improve the world we live in. We want to make a difference but we realized that we need you too to support us to give a warmer and less precarious winter to our Parisian citizens who do not have a home.
Paris has 2 million people. We want to support some of the 3,000 homeless people by giving them the equipment they need to survive this winter. Indeed each end of the year more than 50 homeless people die during the cold weather. We firmly believe that no one should sleep in the street at first, let alone during the winter. With your help we want to help as many people as possible by treating them with dignity and respect: we are one community.
Our goal is to be able to help about 30 homeless people by providing them with quality equipment that keeps them warm. Each of them will receive a kit that includes: a scarf, a hat, gloves, socks, a sleeping bag and hygienic material.
Any money that is raised above is used to help more.

As we live in a free country where values are: equality, freedom and fraternity ... We are all concerned and hurt by the thought of believing that people have not had the same luck as us by not sharing the same living conditions.
At least once everyone has wondered while passing people on the streets what their story is, how they got there or how to help make a differnce.
