Meet Maddie!
She is a sweet, silly little 8 1/2 year old girl. She loves to dance! She was born with a congenital heart defect. She had surgery yesterday 9/29/2020 at the Banner UMC Children's Diamond Center. This was her third open heart surgery and we are unsure if this will be her last one until she is a teenager or not. Unfortunately, things didn't go as well as planned and they had to place a pacemaker in her. She is currently intubated and they have been having difficulty trying to wean her off. Unfortunately, her health insurance isn't paying all of the costs. Her mother works as a medical assistant here in Tucson. The hospital is requiring at least $6000 . There isn't any way that her mother can afford this. Maddie needs our help. She needs it ASAP. Please reach into your heart and give what you can. Any amount will be greatly appreciated!
