Make Life Jolly For John & Lori

In the spirit of giving, we are asking for your support in helping an amazing couple who have been through a great ordeal in the past few months. My sister, Lori and her boyfriend John have struggled immensely trying to get back on their feet after the remnants of Hurricane Irma. Things were finally looking up and they were in the process of moving (due to hurricane related issues), when John got into a car accident this past week. The accident and totaled car would soon be the least of their worries, as doctors informed John he had a large mass on his brain and was rushed from Key West to Miami for treatment. I’m happy to report that after a very trying week and 10+ hours of brain surgery, John came through with flying colors & is now working towards recovery. As you can imagine, he will be unable to work for an extended period of time throughout this process. In addition, future procedures will be required & his medical bills are exorbitant, without the support of health insurance. To make matters worse, Lori’s wallet, cash, and credit cards were stolen last night as she and her parents shared a celebratory drink, in Johns honor.

As trying as the past few months and especially this past week have been, Lori & John are incredibly grateful for the gift of life John has been given. His neurosurgeon summed it up in 5 short words... “That accident saved your life!” So with that being said, I’m kindly asking all of our family and friends to lend a hand in helping Lori and John ease their financial burden. Lets help spread some hope and cheer by giving them a shot in getting back on their feet, so they can focus on Johns successful recovery.
